Terms of Service
Bookings and scope.
Submitting a booking form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Our team will confirm coverage, availability and the next step. Provide accurate contact, location and fault information and arrange safe access to the equipment.
We repair household appliances, domestic and commercial refrigeration, cold rooms and freezer rooms. Air-conditioning work is limited to servicing and repairs; installations are not offered. Whether a particular unit can be repaired depends on its condition, diagnosis and parts availability.
Service charge and quotations.
The service charge is R650. This includes the call-out and the first 30 minutes of assessment/labour. Additional labour and required parts are quoted separately before proceeding. The service charge covers the visit and assessment and is not a promise that every fault can be resolved within 30 minutes.
We explain the findings and obtain agreement before additional quoted work. Repair timing depends on the fault, access and parts availability. Any estimate of timing will be confirmed with you.
Payment.
Payment is due immediately after work is completed. We accept cash, card or PayJustNow. PayJustNow is subject to the provider’s eligibility requirements, approval and terms. Please ask about your preferred payment method when arranging the repair.
Cancellations and rescheduling.
There is no cancellation fee. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule so that we can rearrange the technician’s visit.
Repair satisfaction and parts warranties.
All repairs include a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. If you have a concern about completed work, contact us promptly with your repair details so that we can assess it and arrange the appropriate next step. Any additional warranty or guarantee on particular parts will be explained at the time of repair.
This guarantee does not replace or reduce your rights under applicable South African law. Where section 57 of the Consumer Protection Act applies, its warranty on installed new or reconditioned parts and the labour to install them continues to apply, alongside any longer written warranty. See the Consumer Protection Act.
Safe use and preparation.
Stop using equipment that is leaking near electrical connections, smoking, sparking or giving electric shocks. Do not attempt internal electrical or refrigerant work. Tell the technician about known damage, previous repairs and relevant access conditions.
Our First Checks page provides simple external checks and does not replace a professional diagnosis.
